Better Decisions.
Better Outcomes.
Better Life.
Intelligent Health® is a wholesome resource that:
- Offers a wellspring of practical and stimulating online learning resources to guide and inspire you to eat, move, sleep, think, and live in ways that naturally facilitate healing, promote robust vitality, build resilience, and support an extended healthspan.
- Helps you learn to live more consistently with your body’s natural design and capitalize on its innate intelligence, while staying abreast of emerging health developments and technologies (“biohacks”) to help accelerate healing and build resilience, all while respecting the body’s intelligence and avoiding unanticipated and undesirable outcomes.
- Guides you to safe, effective, and economical diagnostic and therapeutic solutions to support your healing and well-being. To accelerate results, it also advocates judicious use of evidence-based supplement formulations to optimize nutrient sufficiency and to help repair and restore balance to both body and mind.
Decades into the 21st century, millions of human beings are still disabled and die each year from heart attacks, strokes, cancer, Alzheimer’s, kidney disease, and autoimmunity.
The continued, on-going epidemic of chronic pain, disability, and largely preventable degenerative diseases is not so much from a lack of medical care, well-intended health advice, nor the unavailability of new, “better,” medication or supplementation. But, instead, from the lack of access to, and one’s ability to identify, truly wholesome, safe, practical, and beneficial health guidance.
For too long the answer of “what your body wants or doesn’t want” has been either over-complicated, over-simplified, overlooked, based on poorly designed or inaccurately interpreted research, and confused by often contradictory advice by highly credentialed “experts” and reports.
Intelligent Health® is a wholesome resource for those seeking:
1) Safe-and-sound guidance to regain and maintain their health;
2) A “hub” to connect people to vetted services and products to help them feel and function their best
3) Heartfelt validation of their spirit and potential;
4) A source of humor and inspiration to help more elegantly navigate life’s challenges and experiences.

Beyond treatment for medical emergencies or end-stage disease, you can no longer solely depend on conventional medical guidance to preserve and protect your health.
- Getting and staying well requires being your own health-advocate, actively pursuing strategies which are proven to safely and more predictably create health and reduce your disease risks.
- Despite being led to believe otherwise, nonconventional solutions exist which help prevent and even slow, stop, and reverse many of the diseases that often result in disability and a shortened lifespan (cancer, Alzheimer’s, strokes, etc.)
That is not to say that there aren’t times when this type of “damage-control” healthcare is appropriate and necessary. During an acute, critical health crisis or for end-stage disease the tremendous advances in conventional medicine shine and thank goodness they exist!
However, this type of thinking and treatment does not match up well when the goal is to help improve one’s quality of life and avoid future disease recurrences. This is only possible by discovering and correcting the underlying causes of one’s health challenges.
In fact, when these “emergency-care” type treatment approaches are inappropriately utilized they often backfire, sabotaging one’s quality of life instead of improving it. In essence, it is like putting on a temporary band-aid which covers up the ‘surface” problem but does not correct the “underlying” cause. To make matters worse, oftentimes these types of “solutions” create additional pain and disability as a consequence of surgically removed body parts, side-effects from medication, and more.

Without addressing that which precipitated the disease it permits it to persist, oftentimes resulting in a perpetual loop of progressive impairment and often an early demise, as is the case with the most common conditions that cut our lives short – heart attacks, strokes, cancer, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s.
After experiencing and being diagnosed with one of these chronic, degenerative conditions, we are frequently informed that it was the result of “bad” genes, “bad” luck, or from “age,” and that someday—but not today—we’ll know more about how to avoid, and even reverse, these common, devasting diseases.
To feel and function your best – whether to prevent disease (stay well) or reverse disease (get well) – a different approach is often required, one which centers around fostering health and healing from within by adopting a way of thinking and living more aligned with your body’s innate, intelligent design.
Your path to a long and vital life requires your active participation, one that seeks and addresses the underlying causes of disease and infirmity. Ultimately, your better decisions around diet, exercise, sleep, toxic exposure, and stress, inevitably result in your experience of greater resilience, stronger immunity, less disease … and, ultimately, a longer healthspan and better quality of life.
And, although Big Pharma, Big Business, and Big Marketing frequently lead one to believe that there isn’t much one can do to significantly reduce their disease risk – let alone slow, stop, and even reverse their trajectories – the truth is that wholesome strategies do exist that often help avoid and recover from these chronic illnesses.
For decades now integrative physicians – who utilize the combined wisdom of conventional, functional, and natural medicine – have been digging beneath the surface manifestation of disease, revealing the underlying causes, which then ultimately point to the solutions to correct them and help people thrive.
However, integrative physicians are still few and far between, and their services may not be affordable as our current disease-care system is not designed to reimburse this type of health-care (vs. disease-care).
Although doctor-supervised healthcare is helpful after one’s health has declined into a state of considerable degeneration, even then there is much one can do for themselves by themselves to promote healing, build resilience, and help protect their well-being.
Given this fact, coupled with the unavailability of affordable integrative healthcare, I designed a series of self-implemented, doctor-guided Intelligent SelfCare™ programs to help prevent disease, as well as to support one’s recovery.

Most people agree they would like to prevent disease and disability yet are often reluctant (or don’t see the need) to make the necessary investment (time and money) to avoid these outcomes.
- Preventive care can feel like an uphill battle resulting from the confusion around whose advice to trust (which guidance will likely prove beneficial) and how to determine if it resulted in any significant benefit or not.
- When we don’t invest in preventive care, we increase the probability of requiring invasive healthcare (with drug and surgical side-effects), unexpected treatment expenses, and countless hours and effort spent attempting to recover our quality of life.
Although the primary roadblock may seem to be about budget constraints (which may very well exist), the more fundamental reasons are less obvious.
Some are unclear of what will truly help optimize their well-being and be worth the investment of their limited time and healthcare dollars. Others believe that if they feel well enough then they are well enough – which often is not the case. On top of that, when they don’t feel sick or in pain, they lose the incentive to take action to protect their health, making it even more difficult to qualify the investment of their time and energy in preventive healthcare.
Still other factors that limit our inclination to invest in preventive healthcare come into play:
- Mental blockages such as feeling discouraged from past failures (resulting from a lack of sustainable results)
- Uncertainty around the trustworthiness of diet and lifestyle advice
- Mediocre (or no) benefit and a sense of wasted dollars on past use of poorly formulated supplements.
Here’s the problem: The longer you wait to take action to prevent disease, the more degeneration that becomes established, resulting in:
- The greater the need for invasive interventions (drugs; surgery)
- The greater the risk of side-effects and impairment (sometimes permanent)
- The more expensive the healthcare (co-pays, deductibles, uncovered costs, home care)
- The greater the time, energy, and effort required to alter your disease trajectory (if even possible at that point)
- The less predictable the outcome (to restore your health and quality of life).
Clearly it is a wise investment of your time, energy, and resources to STAY well and minimize your risks of disease and disability.
It doesn’t help that lack of understanding (of both individuals and physicians) around the topic of preventive healthcare often results in no (or ineffective) action, perpetuating a loop of unintentional disease-promoting choices and a shortened healthspan and/or lifespan.
Bottom-line: Access to and application of trustworthy healthcare knowledge, resources, and guidance offers greater self-advocacy, agency, and more predictable outcomes to be and stay well.
Foundational Programs offer easily accessible, wholesome, and trustworthy diet and lifestyle preventive healthcare guidance coupled with safe and effective supplement formulas (matched to your age, diet, state of health, and medication usage).

Finding a doctor who understands and applies the latest advances in integrative medicine to identify and correct the underlying causes of ill health can be a challenging and expensive proposition.
- Intelligent SelfCare™ provides affordable, wholesome, doctor-guided instruction and resources that address the underlying causes of many common health challenges.
- The suite of self-implemented programs offers safe-and-sound diet and lifestyle guidance, doctor-formulated, well-researched supplement support, and self-tracking charts to support your success in getting and staying well.
However, doctors trained and experienced in integrative medicine are still few and far between, and even when found, there are financial obstacles to overcome as our current healthcare system is not yet modeled to adequately reimburse those receiving this type of healthcare.
Recognizing the need for people to have access to truly wholesome, doctor-guided resources that are affordable and that address and help correct the underlying causes of degenerative disease, I created Intelligent SelfCare™—a suite of self-implemented programs which offer safe-and-sound diet and lifestyle guidance; doctor-formulated, well-researched supplement support; and self-tracking charts to support one’s success in getting and staying well.
These programs are designed to replenish the most common nutrient deficiencies I found from test results in my practice as well as to promote healing and rejuvenation in specific areas of need frequently revealed in my clients, including immunity, gut health, bone health, blood sugar regulation, blood pressure support, and more.
With access to Intelligent SelfCare resources, individuals can safely and more effectively support various aspects of their health without—or in conjunction with—physician care.
“There is much one can do by oneself and for oneself to promote healing, build resilience, and rebuild one’s health.”
These ground-floor Intelligent SelfCare supplement programs are ideal for those who either generally feel well and want to stay that way or those who have some minor health challenges and desire wholesome and trustworthy diet and lifestyle guidance and well-researched supplement support to facilitate their healing.
Those whose health has declined into a state of degeneration that requires doctor-supervised care can also benefit from my self-care programs when utilized in tandem with and in support of their doctor’s recommendations.
Well-researched, comprehensive, and doctor-guided, Intelligent SelfCare opens the door for many more people to promote their healing and protect their well-being so they may experience a better quality of life.
All of the foundational, restorative, and condition-specific programs are designed to support one’s quest for whole-person health and to have access to resources and knowledge that might otherwise be unavailable due to the scarcity or cost of integrative medical care.
